Gnatrol is the best product we have found for the control of Fungus Gnats (often known as Fruit Flies). We have also put together below a few combinations of terrific products that will be very effective in combating Fungus Gnat problems you may encounter at home, in the green house and in the office. Gnatrol by itself (available in 4 sizes) is effective for killing the larvae stage and thus eventually the population, but it is wise to add some additional muscle if you have a heavy infestation across several pots and/or if you want the fastest relief possible. The ONE TWO PUNCH gives you two products in one easy to order spot and includes Gnatrol 1/2 Cup Granular and our 1 Quart Natural GET OFF ME! Spray Kit. You get two effective weapons, the Gnatrol to kill the larvae and the natural cinnamon Spray to knock down the flying gnats while you wait for the larvae to die out.

Gnatrol disrupts the life cycle of Fungus Gnats which are much more dangerous for your plants than you might realize. Gnatrol kills the larvae (as opposed to the flying gnats) that feed on plant roots and medium, breaking down mix and damaging plants. The larvae period lasts 14 days of the 28 day life cycle of these nasty critters. Knocking out the larvae stage knocks out the population! Weekly applications for 3 weeks when all life stages are present (eggs, larvae and flying adults) will rid your home, greenhouse, mix and plants of these annoying and destructive Fungus Gnats.

Until recently, Gnatrol was only available in liquid form, but we have the brand new granular which has twice the shelf life (2 years) of the liquid version. Gnatrol is available from rePotme in four sizes. Each size is in a convenient clear plastic screw top container containing the newest granular version and comes with its own measuring spoon and directions.

Instructions for Use:

Mix Gnatrol at the rate of 5/8 teaspoon (2 1/2 scoops of the measuring spoon provided) per gallon of water for best results. Once mixed, use as a soil/mix drench (water it in) after normal watering of your plants. Gnatrol should be used weekly for 3 weeks. Fungus Gnat larvae will normally begin to be eliminated within 24 hours. Regular follow-up applications at the rate of 1/4 teaspoon (1 scoop of the measuring spoon provided) will establish a long term maintenance program. The yield range for the Standard size Gnatrol is 76 gallons of finished product at 5/8 teaspoon rate and up to 192 gallons at 1/4 teaspoon rate.

Gnatrol WDG should not be mixed with fertilizers or fungicides containing copper or chlorine as this may neutralize the active ingredients. Chlorine levels in tap water should not present a problem with Gnatrol WDG performance. Can be used up to 3 times per week for extremely heavy infestations.

Gnatrol WDG offers the same effective control of fungus gnat larvae as the original Gnatrol Biological Larvicide, but with increased convenience and application accuracy for a variety of ornamentals as well as all bulb crops, bedding plants and vegetable sets.
